Another fab challenge this week at the Play Date Cafe and it's one of my faves...color splash! Check out the gorgeous color story photo:

TradeFish Designs supplied the DT girls with some product to play with and I got to play with the set "Outta this World" from their August release. It was my first set of spacey themed stamps and I had blast! :)
I stamped the stars using versamark and then heat embossed them with white powder. For the little alien spaceship, I stamped it on red cardstock and then went back over certain areas with a red copic marker to give it some depth. Small highlights were added using a white gel pen. For the sentiment, I stamped it first and then drew a explosion bubble around it using a black marker and cut it out. For a bit of emphasis on the word 'world' I colored over it with the red copic marker.
