I simply adore the Night Owls set from Market Street Stamps and for whatever reason my mind thought of these two talking to each other using the ol' cup and string trick.
For this card I paper pieced the owls and popped them up off their branches fro some extra dimension. Here is a close up of the pretty blue owl:
To get the cups I took the outline coffee mug, stamped in and then cut off the handles and bubbles. After I stuck both owls down I measured a piece of twine to fit perfectly between the two cups.
For the leaves, I just drew a basic leaf outline and filled in the middle with pieces of swirled twine.
