The Play Date Cafe Challenge #140 and a giveaway

It has been waaayyy too long. I think I have looked at the color board every week for the Play Date Cafe and each week I say " right, I want to play that challenge, love the colors" and then the deadline goes by. Not this week though! I saw the colors, loved those earrings and had to play along! Here is the beautiful color story:

I had these odd and end beads lying around in 'almost' the perfect colors and decided to put them together with some sterling silver. Here is what I came up with, I love earrings that dangle!

So what's the giveaway? The earrings of course! I'll tell you a bit about them. The yellow beads are a beautiful frosted glass bead that are very pale yellow. The second bead down is a resin bead in a pale minty green/blue and the last bead hanging is a teal/green oval czech glass bead with a slight picasso finish. The finish on these beads has a hint of yellow on the edges. The headpins, jump ring, daisy spacer and ear wires are all sterling silver. From the bottom of the ear wire down, they measure about 2" in length. To be eligible for the earring giveaway, just leave me comment on this post and tell me your three favorite summer colors and I will pick a random winner by next Tuesday.

Be sure to head on over to the Play Date Cafe to check out the great color inspiration!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Julie
